NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
BANJOS FIRE
Notice is hereby given that Council will be holding a public meeting at the Social Rooms, Circle Street, New Norfolk on Thursday, 29th March 2012 commencing at 6.30pm.
The public meeting is to discuss matters in regard to the fire at the Banjo’s building in New Norfolk.

We are very fortunate to have Tasmania's equal oldest national park in our municipality. Its centenary will be celebrated in 2016.
Book launch
Dick Adams MHR has been kind enough to launch both volumes of the recent Derwent Valley history books we have produced locally.
BBC Radio
In 2001 I travelled to England at my own expense to bid for the right to host the 2008 World Gathering of Norfolk and Norwich here in the Derwent Valley. During this interview on BBC Radio Norwich, it was announced that our bid had been successful
Official welcome
During my visit to Norwich, the chief city in the county of Norfolk, I was officially welcomed by the chairman of the County Council who probably didn't think signing the official visitors book was as funny as I seem to have done
